Marcel Touponse is a classically trained chef, musician, writer and business owner.

He currently owns The Blackbird House with his wife, Erin and also operates a local vegan catering business, VO2GO.

Marcel understands the challenges that come with working towards a dream. Over the years he has tried and failed more than once, and it is through his failures that he has learned the most about how to persevere and move forward.

Marcel has mentored and coached many individuals both in the kitchen setting as chef as well as in the business sector. He remains an instructor for ServSafe practices and is currently writing a vegan cookbook.

His jovial, encouraging nature and ability to break difficult tasks down into manageable pieces help to make goal planning fun and successful.
